Corruption un fléau, une épidémie ou simplement une mal curable.

l’Afrique à l’impasse de corruption mondiale. Sans être le créateur ou même le plus corrompu. Le continent africain souffre de ce malaise. les détournements et le favoritisme. Africa and slavery in the 21st century

Slavery and Africa’s demons

Africa is still struggling with its demon. With no sign of victory at sight. Mauritania is still practicing slavery today. Holding human being without any right. What is sad is in a continent with majority of black. You have a meaningless country like Mauritania practicing slavery in Africa.

It’s happens in other places certainly but not institutionalised. I think all African nation should stand against these inhuman practice. And cut off any relation with Mauritania jus like they did with apartheid. The race cannot be a factor of supremacy   Anywhere. The African Union, the united nation and all the human rights groups should take action.

Not only in Mauritania but also in Sudan , Nigeria, Cameroon, democratic Republic of Congo …

women’s world cup 2015

women’s world cup

The world cup tournament in Canada will not be the best for Africa. after what will be remembered as a short trip. with the best performance for the Cameroon team. It is to early to look for the reasons of this low performance. Women’s soccer is not popular in Africa, and elsewhere. In Cameroon there is no league for women football. some organised event here and there as entertainment. Most men attend this venue just to eye the opposite sex. Is just like a window where they can spy girls. The women’s world cup was just this kind of event. With the major European league on holiday. You will expect women football to have all the football fans attention. The only country interested in the tournament are those playing. You will need cable TV to watch the games.

women's world cup

copa america 2015

The girls representing Africa did great. we can only put our thumbs up. for a continent without a real football league. African football team are able to play against the big ones. when it comes to women sport you get to make more efforts. Against you culture, your family and your physical condition. For all those who spend sleepless night to support the girls thank you. the women’s world cup like the men world cup are to to built fraternal links in the world ecosystem.

Babatunde diaries TV show

Babatunde diaries

Comedy show babatunde diaries tell the story of a born Chinese is his effort to be accepted as Nigerian. Can your brother be yellow when you are black? Babatunde an Asian who wanted to become a Nigerian.
babatunde diaries
The director Obasi did a good job on this show. Although I did not like all the characters, some are really good. For those who have lived in Nigeria this will be a sweet show. It’s common to call Italian spaghetti, so in Nigeria we name Chinese chinko. What a shock when Mr yellow introduce himself as babatunde from Edo Ekitti. To make the situation worst he call Henry his brother. The story goes about all the misfortune of Mr yellow. We can also admire babatunde courage not to give up in business. The very spirit you will find in Lagos. The city is full of opportunities and dangers. The babatunde diaries portray all these aspect of ‘making it’ in Lagos.
The mention about the local medicine and counterfeit is also great. People have to be careful about medicine they buy. The mixture might treat a disease or cause death. There is a very tine line that you can not leave to luck. It make sense to deal with drugs that have been tested and certified. You remember the church collapse in Lagos killing many? Many magicians and prophet are in the business of divinity and obscure science. Babatunde diaries shows how human condition can make us weak. We believe the charlatans because there no other option.
With the crew set to record the second season of the babatunde diaries. I will be waiting like others to see how the story goes. At the end of the first season babatunde is traveling to Ghana. To become a ghanian from accra who knows. Coming soon at Batunde show. Watch the official trailer.

clems onyeka dead by stray bullets

clems onyeka dead by stray bullets

clems onyeka dead

Clems onyeka dead by stray bullets in home town Asaba yesterday. The safety issue remain a big concern in Nigeria the biggest economy in Africa. How to survive in Nigeria. Nigeria is a great place to live. The problem might be on how. There are not written rules. Like we normally say down here you need to be fast. Your brain have to be sharp at any moment. When boarding a taxi or buying in Alaba market. If you know all the pattern you always see it coming. Let’s say you board a taxi, first hand you have to know if it is a genuine. Or some bandit taking you to the meeting spot with accomplice to rip you off. This is not rocket science but it works. You can also lay the hard guy like clems onyeka and end up dead. Fortune can also turn his back on you and get you at the wrong place wrong time. Point is these things happens also in modern society like the US. While in the US your colour will play the sparking role. In Nigeria poverty make people want to improve their lives at all cost. “No matter what, you have to make it.”
The fact is Clems Onyeka died because he ran armed robbers and was shot dead. This is a great lost for his family and friend. The Nollywood rising star lost is a tragedy. Onyeka has just won the star academy award for his acting. Life can be tragic and he will not longer perform. when everything seemed to be promising for the Asaba actor. You will not be forgotten, Clems Onyeka. Rest in peace with your ancestors.
This death remind me of Lucky Dube the South African star. Also shot dead by armed robbers. Burglars have no respect for human life.

ebola outbreak in west africa

ebola outbreak in west africa

ebola outbreak in west africa, is the world response appropriate? Sending troops in west africa to fight ebola? Good for the headlines anyway for the obamacare. West africa desperately need urgent assistance not a strategic move. People are dying from ebola every day and we want to send troops on the ground? when will the 3,000 troops will be going to africa? Troops are needed to fight boko haram in nigeria, to stop genocide in south sudan. What west africa need to counter the ebola outbreak is medical personnel and medicine. Always give africa all but what they need or stay away. You want the local population see you as a savior while you improve your political exposure. 3,000 troops at 200 bucks per head and day you still spend $600,000 per day!!! more than what the local government can spend on staff a month. Surely help is needed to fight the ebola virus I am not just sure we are doing the right thing at this time.ebola outbreak in west africa
