Coffee is a very consumed in Western societies drink. Africa in non-Muslim countries is far behind this drink alcohol. For some it is because of the warm climate. For others it is linked to habits , though the coffee was introduced as beer or whiskey. Le café est une boisson très consommée dans les sociétés occidentales. En Afrique dans les pays non musulmans cette boisson vient loin derrière l’alcool. Pour certain c’est à cause du climat chaud. Pour d’autres cela est lié aux habitudes, pourtant le cafe a été introduit tout comme la bière ou le whisky. Alors pourquoi les africains non musulmans n’ont pas adopté la consommation de cette boisson moins nuisible a la santé et a la société entière. Enfant à l’école les maîtres nous enseignaient que l’alcool était un fléau pour l’Afrique. Bien sur le cafe n’est pas à la porté de tous (le petit déjeuner en général non plus). Mais comment expliquer que les travailleurs durant la pause préfère une “petite” bière?
